As some of you are aware, I ride a motorbike, and I was riding home from the office the other day. During that time, I was so hyper-focussed on being vigilant for every possible thing that could knock me off, that I realised I was looking so hard at trying to find things, that I might miss something else. How do we do everything?!

I'm sure you're all aware of the Selective Attention Test from 1999. If you're not, take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJG698U2Mvo
It started me thinking, some business owners are a bit like this. They are so focussed on what they think they should be looking for that they actually miss important things.
What do we miss when we are so focussed on what we think we should be?
Focussed on retention?
Are you missing client attendance?
Focussed on new referrals? Are you missing existing client follow up?
Focussed on what other practices are doing? Are you missing what makes your practice different?
What are you missing when you are looking so hard at what you can see?
