Telehealth: The Basics

Telehealth, also known as telemedicine, telepsychiatry or telepsychology, is used to assist improving client (mental) health status. We reference telehealth as an aspect of the client journey to a) provide clinical services to rural and remote areas, b) to be considered as part of an e-health model, and c) to be used when appropriate policies and procedures are in place.
This series is going to take us through ways to assess your practice's readiness, develop marketing plans and to understand aspects for your consideration. While practitioners may see telehealth as a way to access more clients, the reality is it's not always feasible to provide the service.
