Running a business is not done in a silo. (If you're feeling isolated, join our free facebook group for clinicians who work in private practice). As such, we consult with a brains trust on a regular basis. In our July series, we are going to introduce you to key people we work with on the regular who assist with ideas, conversations, and laughter.
We asked them to tell us about one book they would recommend and why. What does this have to do with private practice? Well, a fundamental belief of ours is that private practice is an art form. When you look at it that way, we each get a canvas. We can use our fingers, watercolor, or oils. We get to decide. What's most important though, is a lot of times, ideas can dry up and we find ourselves only painting with one color.

When we introduce other ideas we increase our color palate as well as our ability to transition from finger painting to oils.
We hope you enjoy this months topic and that it teaches you to think outside the box....even just a little.
