There are a large number of social medial platforms to use. We have practitioners ask us all the time which is best, which will help convert the best return on investment or which is worth it?

Facebook

Facebook has 2.13 billion active users monthly. That is a lot of people using this platform. It's a great way to connect and see what loved ones are doing. Facebook is also a wonderful surveillance organisations. The information supplied to facebook is provided by individual users at will. Things they like, find funny and are passionate about. This allows you, the business, to be able to raise awareness to your target client. Facebook has numerous features that allow you to specifically market to clients with a certain radius of your bricks and mortar practice, as well as raise brand awareness for a stronger online presence. We'd recommend using Facebook as to raise your brand profile and link to your website as well as post your favourite quotes.

Instagram

How does a photo social medial platform address my needs as a private practice? This question is raised regularly. Take a look at VCPS and how they use Instagram:

They show photos of their practitioners, they have started a campaign to raise awareness to normalise therapy with their "I see a psychologist" campaign. They recognise holiday's and post quirky mental health tips. You can also see that they use their Instagram account to link to their monthly podcast. Instagram users "like" over 4.2 billion posts per day. With that kind of traction, you're bound to raise awareness of your business.

Twitter

Using a "tweet" to get your message out in 280 characters or less. This social media platform is statistically known for user to "discover something new and interesting."

We suggest if you're going to use twitter, you should use it with the idea of a "lighter side" of your practice. Try not to use this platform to be incredibly serious. Post original content that is linked to your website or blog. The use of photos are important as well.
